Smart Makes Waiting for Traffic Lights Fun

With an aim of lowering the risk of road accidents, Smart the car manufacturer teamed up with advertising agency BBDO Germany to develop a road safety campaign which encouraged people to wait for the walk signal before crossing the street. Implemented in Lisbon, Portugal this great initiative helped entertain pedestrians at a busy intersection until it was safe to cross through a dancing traffic light which projected real movement from people nearby.

A great motivator for university students, The Big Start is always on top of its game, creating healthy competition amongst aspiring entrepreneurs across the UAE. Having just closed our fourth season, we are happy to have received great contenders and thank all those who participated in our Student Entrepreneur Competition.

Focused on providing young talent with the opportunity of turning their innovative idea in to reality, we take a look at The Big Start’s Season 3 winner Aditi Sen to see what she has been up to and how The Big Start has helped her jump-start her business.

SENSE, her winning idea has brought a brand-new concept of hope, health and healing in to the region in the form of Animal Assisted Therapy which uses therapy pets to promote human wellness. Located at Al Tamimi Stables, SENSE opened its doors to the public during the stables’ Family Fun Day event in February wherein its therapists were on-sight to supervise human-animal interaction and answer any of the visitors’ questions.
